SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – For the second straight day, the University of Tennessee at Martin golf team made a jump in the team standings as the Skyhawks finished the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate in ninth place.

UT Martin shot a 297 (+9) in the final round, wrapping up its tournament with a score of 893 (+29). The Skyhawks finished the tournament with rounds of 301-295-297 while moving up from 13^th place after the first day.

For the second consecutive day, Nick Wolf shot the lowest score of any UT Martin golfer as the reigning All-OVC honoree carded an even-par 72. Mason Chandler accounted for his best round of the tournament with a 74 (+2) while Ross Redmont followed with a 75 (+3). Jack Story closed out the countable scores with a 76 (+4) for the second straight day.

Tate Chumley shot a 77 (+5) this afternoon while Peyton Dix recorded his best round of the event with a 75 (+3) while playing as an individual.

Overall, Wolf was UT Martin's top finisher as his 218 (+2) ranked in a tie for 15^th place out of 90 competitors. The sophomore from Murfreesboro, Tenn. topped the team in birdies (nine) and par-4 scoring (4.13, +4).

Redmont's 220 (+4) was good enough for a top-25 finish while Chandler notched an overall tally of 225 (+9). Chumley concluded the tournament with a 231 (+15) and was followed by Dix (232, +16) and Story (234, +18).

The Skyhawks resume their spring schedule with an appearance at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate, hosted by Arkansas State on April 1-2. The tournament will be held at RidgePointe Country Club in Jonesboro, Ark.
