"We played pretty well today," Skyhawk head coach Jerry Carpenter said. "Yesterday, it was cold and the wind chill was 27 for the first three hours of the day. We had a lot of double bogeys yesterday and we couldn't overcome those. Today, we made some putts, hit a lot more greens and had several birdies to cover up our bogeys. It was a good finish heading into the last tournament of the regular season."

After charging up the individual standings with a tournament-best 67 in the second round, Ross Redmont shot a 71 (-1) today, including four birdies. His overall tournament score of 215 (-1) finished in a six-way tie for fourth place out of 67 golfers in the field.
          Â
Jack Story generated his best tournament finish of the season, as his 217 (+1) placed him in a tie for 11th place. He carded one birdie and 14 pars during today's third round on his way to a 75 (+3). Playing as an individual, he led the tournament with 41 pars.
          Â
UT Martin's best score on the day came via Nick Wolf, who was responsible for five birdies as part of a 69 (-3). Mason Chandler and Cameron Smith each dialed up three birdies apiece while finishing with identical 75's (+3) to complete the Skyhawk team scoring. Tate Chumley also knocked in a pair of birdies while shooting a 78 (+6) in the third round.
           Â
