
THREE MORE SIGNEES SET TO JOIN THE 2019-20 UT MARTIN EQUESTRIAN ROSTER

MARTIN, Tenn. – Tyler Anderson, Haley Kane and Anna Ordonio have each committed to join the University of Tennessee at Martin equestrian program next season, head coach Meghan Corvin has announced. The talented trio will join 13 other incoming freshmen to the Skyhawk program in 2019-20.
Anderson hails from Novi, Mich. and is currently wrapping up her senior year at Novi High School. She was a USHJA Zone Children Jumper finals 1.10/1.15 bronze team medalist, ranking ninth individually. She was also a USHJA Emerging Athletes Program Regional finalist in both 2016 and 2018 while placing sixth in the 2016 USHJA Horsemanship Quiz Challenge National Finals. In 2017, she won the Albion College Open Jumper Circuit Reserve championship which came two years after she was the USEF Pony Finals Participant Large Pony Hunters and Medal. She also claimed the 2015 USEF Betsy Fishback Sportsmanship Award and earned multiple top finishes in equitation classes in Medal, Maclay and Jumping Seat.
Kane, whose sister Kelby is currently a freshman standout for the Skyhawks, comes to UT Martin from Dunbar High School in Lexington, Ky. She nabbed fifth place honors in the 2018 Tryon Summer 2 Low Junior 1.25 Classic while also producing strong finishes at the 2017 SRJT Children's Jumper 1.10 Finals (sixth place in 2* and seventh place in 3*). She was part of the 2016 USHJA Children's Hunter Finals Team Gold and was also a KHJA Medal Finals overall champion in 2015.
A Frederick, Md. native, Ordonio won the 2018 Gittings Horsemanship Medal Finals and is in her third year as the ISHS varsity team captain at Oakdale High School. In 2017, she placed fourth in the HCHSA Junior Medal Finals, sixth in the VHSA Children's Medal Finals and seventh in the Gittings Horsemanship Medal Finals. She also added an eighth-place finish at the VHSA Hunt Seat Medal Finals while also riding in the USEF Medal Finals, Maclay Regionals, VHSA Hunt Seat Medal Finals, MHSA Hunt Seat Medal Finals and the Gittings Horsemanship Medal Finals in 2018. In addition, she garnered multiple top-10 placings at the Winter Equestrian Festival in each of the last two seasons.
