Savannah Bridges serves as the Head Athletic Trainer at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she leads the athletic training staff and provides primary medical coverage for the rodeo and baseball teams. Â
Savannah returned to her alma mater, UT Martin, in 2022 and has worked with a variety of sports including basketball, volleyball, softball, and soccer. She has provided medical coverage at the College National Rodeo Finals since 2023.
A licensed and certified athletic trainer, Savannah earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Tarleton State University in 2020. As an undergraduate, she was a member of the UT Martin rodeo team under head coach John Luthi. She worked as a student athletic trainer for the Skyhawk football team before graduating from UT Martin with a degree in health and human performance in December 2017. Her professional background includes positions at Brock ISD and Seminole ISD, out of Texas, where she also taught Sports Medicine courses and served as a preceptor for graduate athletic training students.
Her areas of expertise include injury rehabilitation, manual therapy, and program development. She is certified in dry needling and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization.
Savannah is married to Buddy Bridges from Cobden, IL and is a proud stepmother to Eva Bridges.
