Lizzie Snyder joined the University of Tennessee at Martin athletic training staff in June 2026. She primarily works with the Skyhawk volleyball, men’s basketball, beach volleyball and STUNT programs while also providing assistance to all sports.
A former collegiate student-athlete, Snyder came to UT Martin after nearly four years as a technician at Mid America Rehab in Cape Girardeau, Mo. She assisted physical therapists with patient preparation, exercise supervision and treatment setup while also cleaning, maintaining and organizing treatment areas and equipment. She additionally observed patients during exercises and reported concerns to supervising therapists.
Snyder also logged over 1,000 hours of clinical experience in NCAA Division I athletics and orthopedic care, gaining valuable experience at fellow Ohio Valley Conference member Southeast Missouri. She completed a full season immersion with the Redhawk women’s soccer program in 2025 and also worked the OVC Outdoor Track and Field Championship during that same year. She also achieved over 20 hours of clinical hours with Mercy Southeast Orthopedics from August through December 2024.
Hailing from Jackson, Mo., Snyder was a NJCAA third team All-Academic honoree as a soccer student-athlete at Mineral Area College in Park Hills, Mo. before transferring to Southeast Missouri. She graduated from Southeast Missouri with a degree in health science in 2024 before completing her Master’s degree in athletic training from Southeast Missouri in 2026.
