Alliyah Varga joins her father Mike Varga and former college teammate Maddie Turlington on the University of Tennessee at Martin soccer staff as an assistant coach for the 2024 season.
Varga played college soccer on Gardner-Webb for her dad where she was a Big South Conference Honorable Mention in her senior season. During her senior campaign, she started in all 21 matches racking up a total of 1,740 minutes on the pitch. Along with being a lockdown defender, Varga tallied a career-high four assists in her final season as a Runnin’ Bulldog.
In total, the Shelby, N.C. native played 3,837 minutes in 64 career games with six assists and seven shots on goal.
In February 2023, Varga signed with FC Kotkan Työväen Palloilijat, a professional soccer club in Finland.
