2019: Played in 17 matches for the Skyhawks…Recorded zero points…Tallied 11 shot attempts while placing four on goal…Played 446 minutes, including a season-high 50 minutes against Eastern Illinois (Sept. 20)...Named to Athletic Director's Honor Roll for spring semester.
2018: Saw the pitch 12 times while getting the starting nod once against Union on Sept. 10…Netted a pair of goals against Jackson State on Aug. 26 and also reeled off a season-best four shots and two shots on goal against the Tigers…Placed a shot on goal against Evansville and Western Carolina.
2017: Appeared in 15 matches while drawing the starting nod in four bouts…Tallied an assist in the season-opener against Marshall on Aug. 18…Reeled off a pair of shots (both on goal) in the match against Eastern Illinois on Oct. 15…Also put another shot on goal in the bout against Jackson State on Sept. 6.
BEFORE UTM: Claimed a national championship with Tennessee Soccer Club 99 Showcase Team...Was one of the most versatile players under head coach Jose Londono at Ravenwood High School…Saw time at every position on the pitch but goalkeeper…Was named to the all-district team in 2015-2016, mid-state first team in 2015 and was tabbed as the district Defensive Player of the Year in 2015…Was selected as the captain for the Raptors in the 2016 season, while winning the Raptor Reward for Defender of the Year in both 2015 and 2016…Notched region championships each year from 2013-2015…Also played for the Tennessee Club 1999 Girls Showcase claiming a championship in 2016…Guided her team to a Region III semifinals appearances in 2015 and 2016 and a TNI Championship in 2016.
PERSONAL: Born on June 8, 1999…Daughter of Steve and Tonya Gerido…Has an older brother, Blake… Is a member on a long list of family members who have enjoyed athletic success, as uncle Daryl Turner attended Michigan State University before joining the National Football League’s Seattle Seahawks from 1984-1987 and cousin Matthew Daniels played football at Duke before spending time at the professional level with the Los Angeles Rams, San Diego Chargers and Jacksonville Jaguars…Majoring in pre-med biology.
