Justin Robinson enters his first season as an assistant coach at UT Martin since joining the staff in the spring of 2022, serving as the team’s defensive line coach.

Before joining UT Martin, Robinson held a similar role at Division III institution Hanover College for four seasons while also holding the title of recruiting coordinator from 2018-21. While on staff the squad posted a 25-11 overall record while going 22-4 in conference play with two playoff appearances. With the Panthers he helped mentor six all-conference honorees while the defensive unit consistently ranked amongst the best in the HCAC – including holding conference opponents to a league-low 18.5 points per game.

Prior to his tenure with Hanover, Robinson served as the defensive coordinator and associate head coach at Evansville Central High School for the 2017 season. He also spent the 2016 season as the defensive line coach at Bishop Chatard High School and 2015 as defensive coordinator at Heritage Christian School.

Robinson graduated with a bachelor’s degree in human biology from the University of Indianapolis in 2012. He also received a master’s degree in human resource management/personnel administration from Indiana Wesleyan in 2016.
