BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Senior forward Millie Perry of the University of Tennessee at Martin soccer team was named the Ohio Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
Perry scored the game-winner Saturday against Southeast Missouri, burying a pass from Alex Weihs in front of the goal. In just 48 minutes, she had three shots and a game-high two on goal. The goal marked the first of her collegiate career for the Warrington, England, native, who has appeared in 15 matches with five starts this season.
On Sunday, Perry and the Skyhawks will travel to Eastern Illinois to close out the regular season in a bid to secure their first OVC title since 2021. To capture the regular-season crown, UT Martin needs a win over the Panthers and either a tie or loss by Lindenwood against Western Illinois.
