Skyhawks Post Season-Highs At Morehead State

MOREHEAD, Ky. – The University of Tennessee at Martin rifle posted season-highs across all three statistical categories Friday, as the fell at Morehead State, 4678-4639. Along with the season best aggregate of 4639, the Skyhawks also set new season marks with a smallbore of 2296 and an air rifle of 2343.
Sophia Ashford had a career day across both guns Friday. She shot a 579 smallbore and a 588 air rifle for an 1167 aggregate, all personal bests.
Joey Kovach had a 574 in smallbore, while Olivia Harvey and Aubrey Chenoweth fired a 572 and a 571, respectively. In air rifle, Chenoweth and Kovach each shot a 586, while Liam Tegeler fired a 583.
UT Martin will take on the Eagles once again Saturday in Morehead, Kentucky.
