
Skyhawks Head Into Bye Week Ranked 25th

MARTIN, Tenn. – After securing three consecutive wins, the University of Tennessee at Martin football program enters its bye week ranked No. 25 in the latest Stats Perform Top 25 Poll.
The Skyhawks jumped into the Top 25 poll after picking up their fourth win of the season and second straight Big South-OVC Football Association victory. UT Martin's lone FCS losses of the season came by one-score margins to Southeast Missouri (No. 8 in Stats and Coaches) and Missouri State (No. 20 in Coaches) who now both rank nationally.
UT Martin ranks in the top-10 nationally third down conversion defense (fifth), rushing defense (sixth) and defensive touchdowns (sixth).
The Skyhawks will return to action for Family Weekend on Saturday, Oct. 26 against conference rival Eastern Illinois.
