UT MARTIN MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY TEAM ENTERS SEASON RANKED 15TH IN THE NCAA SOUTH REGION

NEW ORLEANS, La.- This week the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released their preseason men's cross country regional rankings and the University of Tennessee at Martin earned the No. 15 ranking in the NCAA South Region.
The Skyhawks rank as the only Ohio Valley Conference program in the region rankings, joining Tennessee, Alabama, Florida State, Ole Miss, Auburn, Lipscomb, Middle Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Georgia, ETSU, Belmont, Florida, Memphis and North Alabama.
Last season, UT Martin found itself ranked as high as 13th as they marched on to have one of the best seasons in program history. The Skyhawks finished with a program-best second place finish at the OVC Championships.
UT Martin will begin their season at the City Auto Memphis Twilight Classic at 10 p.m. on Saturday.
