2022 OVC WOMEN’S TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP FIELD IS SET; UT MARTIN GRABS NO. SIX SEED

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The 2022 Ohio Valley Conference Women's Tennis Championship bracket has been set. Austin Peay captured the regular season crown and the No. 1 seed while Southeast Missouri landed the No. 2 seed. Belmont earned the three seed followed by SIUE, Murray State, and UT Martin.

The three-day event will take place at the Wesselman Tennis Center in Evansville, Indiana. First round matches will be held this Friday, April 29^th before the Semifinals and Championship rounds on April 30^th and May 1^st respectively.

By virtue of earning top-two seed status, APSU & SEMO automatically advance to the Semi's on Saturday, leaving the Skyhawks with a rematch against Belmont in the Quarterfinal round at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.

FIRST ROUND – Friday, April 29
Match 1 - #3 Belmont vs. #6 UT Martin – 10:00 a.m.
Match 2 - #4 SIUE vs. #5 Murray State – 10:00 a.m.

SEMIFINALS – Saturday, April 30
Match 3 - #2 Southeast Missouri vs. Match 1 winner – 10:00 a.m.
Match 4 - #1 Austin Peay vs. Match 2 winner – 10:00 a.m.

CHAMPIONSHIP – Sunday, May 1
Match 5 – Match 3 winner vs. Match 4 winner – 10:00 a.m.
