UT MARTIN MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY SQUAD RANKED NINTH IN NCAA SOUTH REGION

MARTIN, Tenn. – After a strong start to the season, the University of Tennessee at Martin men's cross country team has climbed to ninth in the NCAA South region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Week 5 rankings.
The Skyhawks sit ninth in the South region behind Ole Miss, Georgia, Florida State, Tennessee, Lipscomb, Georgia Tech, North Florida and Florida. UT Martin also ranks ahead of fellow Ohio Valley Conference members Belmont (10th) and Tennessee Tech (13th). The ranking serves as the highest in program history, besting an 11th place designation earlier this season.
UT Martin will return to action this weekend at the Golden Eagle Invitational in Cookeville, Tenn.
