
SKYHAWKS PRODUCE FOUR SRIXON/CLEVELAND GOLF ALL-AMERICA SCHOLARS

NORMAN, Okla. – Four University of Tennessee at Martin representatives graced the 2019-20 Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar list, which was released today by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Mason Chandler, Ross Redmont, Jack Story and Nick Wolf each earned a spot on the prestigious list, joining Austin Swafford (2017) and Ben Reeves (2016) as the only Skyhawks to ever win the award.
Overall, 376 Division I golfers were recognized as Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars today. UT Martin accounted for four of the nine Ohio Valley Conference honorees and was one of just 31 universities to have at least four recipients. Only Duke (6), Louisville (6), Cincinnati (5), Gonzaga (5), Illinois (5), Kentucky (5), Michigan State (5), New Mexico (5), Princeton (5), Rice (5), Stanford (5), Tennessee (5), Wyoming (5) and Yale (5) had more All-America Scholars than the Skyhawks.
To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically. In addition, they must have a stroke average under 76.0, maintain a cumulative career Grade Point Average of 3.2 and participate in 40 percent of the team's competitive rounds.
Chandler collected a 73.1 stroke average over 23 rounds during his redshirt junior campaign in 2019-20. The Kenton, Tenn. native sports a cumulative 3.38 GPA while majoring in agricultural engineering.
Hailing from Memphis, Tenn. is Redmont, who posted a 71.9 scoring average spread out over 20 rounds as a redshirt senior. He is responsible for a 3.74 combined GPA while majoring in accounting and finance.
Recently completing his senior season was Story, who carded a 71.0 stroke average while completing 26 rounds. A finance major from Dickson, Tenn., he has maintained a 3.75 cumulative GPA.
Wolf completed his junior season with a 72.3 scoring average in 26 rounds. The Murfreesboro, Tenn. native has registered a career GPA of 3.97 while majoring in finance.
