UT MARTIN AND MISSOURI STATE ANNOUNCE HOME-AND-HOME FOOTBALL SERIES FOR 2022 & 2023

MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin and Missouri State have announced a home-and-home football series between the two Football Championship Subdivision programs for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
"It is exciting to fill our schedule over the next few years with exciting matchups between the Ohio Valley Conference and Missouri Valley Football Conference," UT Martin Director of Athletics Kurt McGuffin said. "Squaring off against one of the best football conferences in the country will not only boast our postseason résumé, but also continue to grow the brand of UT Martin and the OVC throughout the region."
The first game between UT Martin and Missouri State will take place in Springfield, Mo. on Sept. 10, 2022. The Bears will then make the return trip to Martin on Sept. 9, 2023.
UT Martin and Missouri State have met six times previously with the Bears winning all six contests in a series which dates back to 1996. The two squads last met on Sept. 12, 2008 with the Skyhawks narrowly dropping the contest 24-14.
