MARTIN, Tenn. – A total of 10 different Skyhawk athletic programs are sponsoring camps this summer, ranging from May 29 through Aug. 4 at various locations on the University of Tennessee at Martin campus.
The Skyhawk women's basketball program will host six camps, beginning with a junior high camp for both boys and girls on May 29-June 1. High school team camps will follow on June 6-8 and June 20-22. A one-day tournament for middle school and high school teams will also take place on June 23. That will be followed by a fundamentals camp for kindergarten through eighth grade participants on July 16-19. A women's elite camp for grades 8-12 is also scheduled for Aug. 4.
UT Martin football will conduct a pair of camps, holding an individual elite camp in conjunction with the University of Michigan coaching staff for rising ninth through 12th graders on June 2. A 7-on-7 high school team camp will also be held on July 14.
A pair of UCA high school team cheer camps are also set for this summer. Those dates are scheduled for June 3-6 and July 17-20.
The Skyhawk equestrian program is holding four camps, starting with a day camp for ages 5 and up on June 4-7. Two premier clinics for campers ages 14-18 will be held on June 14-15 and June 25-26 while a premier camp for ages 14-18 will take place on June 18-21.
Three camps will be hosted by the UT Martin men's basketball program, opening with a high school team camp on June 12-13. A Junior Skyhawks camp for boys and girls ages 6-12 will be held on June 25-28 while an elite camp for boys in grades 7-12 is set for June 30.
The Skyhawk softball program will host an exposure and skills development camp for ages 13 through a graduating high school senior on June 12-13.
The UT Martin tennis program is set to host two camps for second through 12th grade students. The first camp will take place on June 18-22 while the second camp is set for July 9-13.
Skyhawk volleyball is also hosting a trio of camps, the first of which is an all skills camp that will take place on July 27-28 for ages 13-18. Clinics for setters/defensive specialists and hitters for ages 13-18 will follow on July 29.
The UT Martin soccer program will host a Kids Day camp for both boys and girls, ages 5-11 on July 23-26.Â
