Thomas "Skeeter" Ellis

Ellis was a member of the UTJC football squad for two years and was an all-conference selection his second year. He helped lead the team to an undefeated season and the school's first Mississippi Valley Conference championship. He transferred to Memphis State, and was among the nation's top scorers for the only unbeaten team in MSU history. He was named to that school's hall of fame in 1976.
