Scott was a two-time All-American for the UT Martin golf team, earning the honor his junior and senior years. He participated in the NCAA National Tournament three years.Â
A native of Savannah, Tenn., Scott was the first recipient of a golf scholarship at the University. Other accomplishments included winning the Tennessee Intercollegiate Conference Tournament and the VSAC Conference individual titles.
