Warren McClure was one of the most versatile athletes to ever compete at the university. She started 104 of 106 basketball games in her four-year career and is near the top of the the all-time scoring list with 1,130 points. As a tennis player, she helped lead the university to it’s first-ever OVC title in the conference in her senior year. She captured both the No. 5 singles title and No. 3 doubles title, earning double All-OVC honors. Warren was the recipient of numerous honors, including the Bettye Giles Award which annually goes to the university’s top female athlete. An honors graduate, she served as men’s and women’s assistant tennis coach from 1994-98.
