SKYHAWK BEACH VOLLEYBALL’S HOME DOUBLE DUAL AGAINST NORTH ALABAMA MOVED TO TOMORROW AFTERNOON

MARTIN, Tenn. – The final home matches of the 2022 University of Tennessee at Martin beach volleyball programs will take place on Tuesday, April 12 against North Alabama. The double dual is set for 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. at the Skyhawk Beach Volleyball Complex.
The matches were originally set for Wednesday but are being pushed up to avoid potential thunderstorms in the area.
UT Martin enters its home finale with a 10-3 record, equaling the program's previous single-season high for victories. Winners in nine of their last 10 contests, the Skyhawks are in search of a season sweep of the Lions as UT Martin won 5-0 in a road match at North Alabama on March 23.
The Skyhawks boast a balanced lineup as all five pairs have racked up at least nine wins on the season. Overall, UT Martin has won 50 of its 65 head-to-head matchups (.769 winning percentage) in 2022.
Two-time Ohio Valley Conference Pair of the Week Dylan Mott and Karen Scanlon hold down the No. 1 position with a 10-3 record, including an active five-match winning streak. Kambree Lucas/Hannah Phillips own a 9-4 mark out of the No. 2 slot while Haeleigh Paulino/Logan Wallick are 10-3 at No. 3. The tandem of Kayla Carrell/Addison Conley sport a team-best 12-1 record out of the No. 4 position while the Skyhawk No. 5 team of Brooke Kuball/Addy Vaughn has compiled a 9-3 mark.
UT Martin has two more tournaments on the regular season schedule – both in Clarksville, Tenn. – before the 2022 OVC Championship takes place in Morehead, Ky. on April 28-30.
