Jack Story also performed well for UT Martin today, as his two-round total of 145 (+1) ranks seventh in the field. The sophomore from Dickson, Tenn. carded a 73 in the first round and shaved off a stroke for a 72 in the second round, chalking up four birdies and an eagle along the way.
Nick Wolf shot a 76 this morning and followed with a 77 during the afternoon, finishing his day with a 153 (+9). Ross Redmont (81-79; 160) factored into the team scoring in the opening round while Cameron Smith (87-77; 164) pitched into the team tally in the second round for the Skyhawks.

“This is a championship golf course and it is in great shape,” UT Martin head coach Jerry Carpenter said. “Overnight rains really made the course wet and with the winds blowing today, pulling the right club was very important – we didn’t do a very good job of that. Hunter and Jack played two great rounds of golf but I am in very disappointed in the score from our team – we have to improve on that. We are playing in the final group tomorrow and we have an opportunity to move up so we are looking forward to finishing strong.”
The third and final round will be played on Tuesday, Oct. 24 with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. UT Martin will be paired with Tennessee Tech (579, +3) and Auburn (593, +17) during the last round.
