SKYHAWK MEN'S BASKETBALL TO FACE MURRAY STATE IN OVC SEMIFINALS ON FRIDAY

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The No. 2 seed University of Tennessee at Martin men's basketball team will take on No. 7 seed Murray State in the Ohio Valley Conference semifinals on Friday, March 3. The game will be aired live on ESPNU and is scheduled to tip off at 9 p.m.
The Skyhawks (20-11) earned a double bye and an automatic berth into the league's Final Four after winning their second consecutive OVC West division championship. UT Martin will face a Murray State (16-16) that defeated No. 6 seed Tennessee Tech (85-84 in double overtime) on Wednesday before turning away No. 3 seed Morehead State by a 75-69 margin in the quarterfinals on Thursday evening.
This will be the third time that the Skyhawks take on Murray State this season. The Racers claimed a 94-86 win in Murray on Jan. 28 before UT Martin scored an 83-76 home victory on Feb. 25. Jacolby Mobley averaged 29.5 points per outing while Javier Martinez (18.5 points, 10.5 rebounds) averaged a double-double against Murray State this year.
