FOOTBALL SHOWDOWN AT JACKSONVILLE STATE TABBED AS ESPN3 GAME OF THE WEEK

OVC Game of the Week on ESPN3 Information
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin football team’s contest at Jacksonville State scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 19 has been selected as a "Wildcard Selection" in the league's Game of the Week football package on ESPN3. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Burgess-Snow Field.
When the league's eight-contest Game of the Week schedule was announced in July, the Oct. 29, Nov. 5, Nov. 12 and Nov. 19 games were deemed "Wildcard" dates where the matchup would not be announced until roughly two weeks prior to the contest. The game marks the second “Game of the Week” for the Skyhawks this season while notching the fourth game broadcast on ESPN3.
Jacksonville State and UT Martin have played 37 previous times with the Gamecocks holding a 30-7 advantage including having won the past three in a row and six of the last seven matchups. Entering this week games, the Gamecocks and Skyhawks are at the top of the OVC standings and if both squads win this week, the Nov. 19 game would be for the OVC Championship.
This marks the fourth-straight season the league has produced the Game of the Week package in conjunction with WebStream Sports. WebStream Sports, an Indianapolis-based company which is a proven leader in video production, streaming video and content creation. The company, founded in 2006, produces more than 1,000 events annually.
