MARTIN, Tenn. – Meghan Cunningham, the head equestrian coach at The University of Tennessee at Martin, has announced Kendall Casaccio of Marmors, NJ, has signed scholarship papers to ride for the Skyhawks in the fall of 2013.

“We’re excited to have Kendall join the Skyhawks equestrian team,” Cunningham said. “She will be a great addition to our program.”

Casaccio, who plans to major in business administration, said she decided UT Martin was the right place for her because of several reasons. “The nice campus and the great academic programs made a big difference to me.”

Casaccio qualified and competed in the USEF talent search finals and the ASPCA Maclay and USEF medal finals.

In addition to equestrian, Casaccio sings in the select choir and served as camp counselor for summer riding. She also has participated in several food drives for the Food Bank of South Jersey.

Casaccio, the daughter of Paul and Jill Casaccio, prepped at Ocean City High School. She plans to ride Hunter Seat.
