'FAMILY FEUD' RETURNS AT TENNESSEE ALL IN THE FAMILY TAILGATE PARTY SET FOR SEPT. 4

MARTIN, Tenn. - For the first time since 2008, college football fans will square off in a version of "Family Feud," the American television game show that pits two families against each other in a contest to name the most popular responses to a survey-type question posed to 100 people.
Football fans from The University of Tennessee at Martin and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville will play the game at the All in the Family Tailgate Party set from 3-5 p.m. ET at Circle Park on the UT Knoxville campus.
Charley Deal, assistant vice chancellor for alumni relations at UT Martin, and Steve Catlett, associate vice chancellor for alumni affairs at UT Knoxville, will serve as masters of ceremonies for the party as well as host the Family Feud.
The Pride of the Southland Band, cheerleaders from UT Martin and UT Knoxville and the mascots from both schools, Captain Skyhawk and Smokey will make appearances at the event, which will feature several door prizes.
UT Martin Chancellor Tom Rakes, UT Knoxville Chancellor Jimmy Cheek and the University of Tennessee President Jan Simek will greet fans. UT Knoxville head men's basketball coach Bruce Pearl and Lady Vols head basketball coach and UT Martin alumna Pat Summitt will be special guest speakers.
The All in the Family Tailgate Party precedes the UT Martin vs. UT Knoxville football game set for 6 p.m. ET in Neyland Stadium.
Tickets for the tailgate party are $15 each for adults and $8 each for children 12 and under. Commemorative T-shirts from the tailgate party will be available for $12 each. T-shirts must be pre-ordered by Aug. 13.
Tickets for the football game are on sale at UT Martin through Aug. 13. UT Martin season tickets are on sale now.
