UT MARTIN EQUESTRIAN BOASTS NINE NCEA ACADEMIC HONOR ROLL RECIPIENTS

MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin placed nine honorees on the 2018 APHA National Collegiate Equestrian Association Academic Honor Roll list, which was released today.
After earning a spot on the Farnam NCEA All-Academic list that was announced last week, Jade Bleskey (3.53 Grade Point Average, agricultural communications and agricultural business major), Bobbie Piddock (3.81 GPA, agricultural business major), Megan Aiosa (3.88 GPA, agriculture education), Randi LaChance (3.32 GPA, pre-veterinary medicine major) and Sydney Lintner (3.35 GPA, management major) repeated with another accolade on today’s NCEA Academic honor roll.
Joining the aforementioned five Skyhawks are Gwen Bracey, Sammi Felts, Savannah Metheny and Johnie Parker. In order to qualify for the NCEA Academic Honor Roll, a participant must have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous spring (2017) and fall (2017) semesters.
Bracey maintained a 3.39 cumulative GPA last year while the Goodlettsville, Tenn. native majored in pre-veterinary medicine. A junior out of Chesterfield, Va., Felts chalked up a cumulative 3.78 GPA while majoring in psychology.
A sophomore from Weston, W. Va., Metheny captured a 3.52 cumulative GPA as a pre-veterinary medicine major. Parker earned a cumulative 3.49 GPA while also majoring in pre-veterinary medicine last year.
