Jumamukhambetova and Potter teamed together for a 6-2 victory at No. 1 doubles while Amelia Campbell and Plantada completed the doubles win by edging out a 7-5 triumph at No. 3.
The first Skyhawk singles victory on the day went to Jumamukhambetova, who defeated Maria Plaksina by a 7-5, 6-1 score at No. 1. Mizuki Sakurai followed with a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 5 over Terra Sheldon before a pair of three-set decisions both went UT Martin’s way.
