Georgia came in at No. 1 in the newest NCEA poll and was followed by No. 2 Auburn, No. 3 Texas A&M, No. 4 SMU, No. 5 Oklahoma State, No. 6 Baylor, No. 7 TCU, No. 8 South Carolina and No. 9 South Dakota State.

The Skyhawks account for a 2-3 team record in 2017-18 with all five meets coming against nationally ranked opponents. In Hunt Seat, UT Martin has averaged a score of 74.8 in equitation on the flat to go along with a 76.7 average score in equitation over fences. The Skyhawks are responsible for average scores of 70.9 in horsemanship and 65.4 in reining in the Western discipline.
