Skyhawk Women's Cross-Country/Track | Jolyta Henderson - Assistant Coach
Jolyta Henderson begins her second season with the Skyhawk cross country/track and field staff after graduating and competing at Murray State University.
Henderson, a former collegiate athlete, competed in sprints, jumps, and hurdles at Murray State University. During her time at Murray State, she achieved many personal records in sprints and hurdles as well as making the MSU top 10 records in the 100-meter hurdles with the time of 14.70 sec.
While earning a degree in exercise science and wellness, Henderson was a standout student-athlete and was voted to the track team’s Leadership Council.
Prior to her collegiate career, Henderson was a five-time high school Tennessee State Champion. While in high school, Henderson competed in sprints, jumps, hurdles, and the pentathlon. She holds many school records at Dyersburg High School.
Henderson is currently working on a Master’s degree in business.
